It is a little bit surprising to see how the way of life in the United States has changed in last few decades. Just about thirty years ago people were living totally different lives and according to following old photos of Boston, people were more enjoying the life than those days. The photos were made during the 1970. and they reveal the old style of life which cannot be seen today.

It seems that the capitalistic machine of globalization and modernization has some serious impact on the way how we live. My personal opinion is that people who were living in 70′s in Boston were much more happier than now. As you can see from photos, people were less in a rush for expensive clothes, cars and other similar things which have became the very main goal of the most of modern people who are living in cities.

I have to admit that there is something in those photos which reminds me on hippies. It seems that all people had a little bit of immaterial look on life unlike today when most of people is trying to collect as much of money and other things as they can.
