The Great Blue Hole is located in Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System, about 60 miles away from Belize City. It is believed that this hole is the world’s largest sea-hole. It is about 125 meters deep and its diameter is about 300 meters wide. It has been created as a cause of sea level increase about 65,000 years ago.

Is this really true? If it was, very amazing and incredible nature.

  2. Brian!No Gravatar Says:

It’s not the deepest; there is one in the Bahamas’ that’s deeper. Dean’s hole goes down 202m (663ft): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dean%27s_Blue_Hole

  3. LaurenNo Gravatar Says:

Yout title is actually incorrect. Dean’s Blue hole in Long Island, Bahamas is actually the world’s deepest sea hole at 663 ft (202 m)

I am from The Bahamas. Dean’s Blue Hole in Long Island, Bahamas is registered as the deepest blue hole on the planet. It is 663 ft deep. Thank you, please make the correction.

  6. darcyNo Gravatar Says:

and it will keep on increasing because of global warming..

  7. timNo Gravatar Says:

The article is actually correct. The Great Blue Hole is considered the world’s largest. Dean’s Blue Hole is the deepest, but the Great Blue Hole in Belize is the largest. The article is correct, the title is not.

    Using numbers from Wikipedia:
Dean’s Blue Hole: 53,131,621 cu. ft. Depth: 663 ft.
Great Blue Hole: 99,246,240 cu. ft. Depth: 410 ft.

    You’re welcome!

  12. GNo Gravatar Says:

“It has been created as a cause of sea level increase about 65,000 years ago.”

How? What does this sentence even mean?

  13. cockatriceNo Gravatar Says:

At one time this was a cenote on dry land. With sea level rise it is now a deep hole out in the ocean. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cenote

  14. Bert van AalsburgNo Gravatar Says:

But did the rising seas only fill in a round hole that was already there? During the glacial age, sea level was many feet lower than what it is now, leaving the hole high and dry and only a hole in the ground. Melting glacial ice, at the end of the age, is what overwhelmed the Bosphorus and flooded the Black Sea basin. Stands to reason that it also filled in the blue hole. And, as the water was rising, seaside human habitations would also have been flooded, and we have no idea where they may have been because most archeologists don’t scuba dive. To my eye, the hole is just too round to be natural. And knowing that some cultures in the Americas dug and covered round holes in the ground known as kivas, I wonder if this hole began as a kiva and was abandoned when the waters came.

  18. CoolBraidNo Gravatar Says:

The changing shape of our planet leaves us with many possibilities of how this hole was formed and how it was filled with seawater. we cannot assume that land stays in a fixed place relative to the Earths Core as Tectonic plates shift All the time (Earthquakes etc.) so it is possible that this land was under seawater all the time as it is also possible it was above the low tide mark. I think it is more important to enjoy the Beauty of this hole than argue its unknown history

  21. whateverNo Gravatar Says:

Well its only a sea hole and only 100 metres… imagine deepest place at the bottom of the ocean which is like 10 000 metres or so… where even a normal submarine cant survive such pressure… here’s what i found:

“Imagine a place only accessible by deep-sea submersible. A place that’s so cold only the smallest microbes and microorganisms can survive. A place where water exhibits such tremendous amount of pressure that it equals 16,000 pounds per square inch. At almost 7 miles in depth, the deepest point of the ocean is called the Marianas Trench. Located in the Pacific Ocean, this trench is part of a continuous trough on the ocean floor that runs over 1,550 miles long.”

    ASIANS CAN ACTUALLY READ MINDS!!!!!!!!!
they can hear and see what your visually thinking

the reason alot of asians have completely expressionless faces, only associate with asians and dont associate with non asians very much is to avoid accidentally revealing that they can read read minds, if all over a billion asians were to show facial expressions all the time just as much as non asians, associate with non asians much more, and be much more friendly and talkative, then alot of them might accidentally reveal that they can read minds by accidentally showing a facial expression or dirty look when someone thinks, or visually pictures something in their mind they dont like or find astonishing or funny, and if they were all to associate with non asians alot more there would be alot more people around for them to accidentally show facial expressions when those other people think things they dont like, so they only associate with asians so there wont be anyone around for them to see that and have any accidents happen in the first place

think about it, its not normal how alot of them act, and the entire way they act is all to hide their mind reading abilities, it makes perfect sense to do all of that to hide that they can read minds, because all of that is the perfect way to do it!
every single asian on the planet is hiding their mind reading abilities, they value hiding their mind reading abilities more then their own lives!
thats why nobody knows about it!

try thinking, best yet visually picturing in your mind something something absolutely crazy as you possibly can when you are around asians, and try looking for asians who give people particular looks, especially dirty looks for what appears to be for completely no reason, that is them giving people looks when they hear and visually see someone thinking something they dont like, find funny or astonishing
it still happens despite a large number of them having completely expressionless faces all the time, it would just happen alot more if none of htem had completely expressionless faces all the time, its not uncommon!

i know this sounds crazy, impossible, and completely unbelievable, BUT IT ISNT CRAZY WHEN ITS TRUE

you have to spread the message!!!
the world has to know about this!!!!

    Meteorite impact site

    For Miriam Bragan:

Some water-filled sinkholes are deeper than Dean’s Blue Hole, Zacatón in Mexico (335 metres (1,099 ft)) and Pozzo del Merro in Italy (392 metres (1,286 ft)) among them. Dean’s Blue Hole though is the deepest known sinkhole with entrance below the sea level.

    Cheers
