Most of us have parents, or have had, or maybe are parents themselves. But what determines if you are a good or a bad parent? Some would say that a bad parent is someone who has lack of love for its child, which makes sense. Can you become a better parent?

The River Fleet – An Amazing River In The Underground Of London

It’s not enough that whole London has a complete underground system, it has a underground river too. It’s called the River Fleet and is London’s largest subterranean river. Long time ago Victorian engineers built a whole system of tunnels and chambers under London.

The river can fill up to the roof in about 30 minutes, so if you’re a traveler that wants to experience River Fleet, you should be aware of its danger, and get out as soon as the water starts rising.

When this network of tunnels were made, the river water was clean and clear, but throughout the years it has gotten rather pollute by waste and blood. So soon it became a place you could throw junk into, even dead bodies.

A lot of things were tried to be done to fix everything, but the stink was unbearable. Luckily its somewhat clean today, and you can visit the whole network, just be safe. And here are some other places in London that you can visit while you’re at it.

Stunning And Delicate Toothpick Art

Most of us use toothpicks after eating or maybe for some detailed work like nail art. This guy is using it to make art. Amazing! His name is Steven J. Backman and for him every toothpick can be made into a famous landmark replica. The sculptures are so small that it’s ridiculously difficult to even imagine how he does it.

He uses only toothpicks and glue, and for some of the sculptures he is even using only 1 toothpick. Of course he fails a lot of times before he finally makes one that’s perfect, because a toothpick is obviously very fragile. The landmarks are for example the Eiffel Tower, Golden Gate Bridge, The White House and Empire State Building.

He has also used several toothpicks to make illustrations of Mona Lisa, etc. Toothpick art has been popular for quite some time. Here you can see the biggest and tallest toothpick structure ever.

Serving the army can be a tough job and experience, so why not have fun while you’re in the misery? Here are some funny American military patches that are made so soldiers could brighten up a bit. They are so many and you can spend hours looking at them because some are really detailed. You can see everything from alien heads to goofy cartoon figures. Some of them are funny, others are cute, which gives the soldiers a softer look.

Maybe women would maybe agree that it looks better to have fun military patches than boring and tough ones, but then again, who knows? Speaking of the military here are some formations of soldiers.

Most Scary And Creepy Playground Ever

A lot of people think that clowns are creepy, or even the porcelain dolls, like a lot of children too. But the most creepy thing from children has to be this playground. I really don’t understand what kind of children would enjoy it in here. This is a playground or children park in Sergeevka in Russia by the Black Sea. It used to be a famous resort but now it’s abandoned. Even more scary to think about.

The opening gate is freaky enough with a enormous green guy that welcomes you in. He looks like he’s never going to let you out again or something like that. Inside there are a lot of soulless figures that will immediately give you nightmares.

The fact that the children park is abandoned makes it worse, because all the play figures are rusty and spooky. Luckily the photographers that provided these pictures got out safe.

But who knows, maybe the Russian kids don’t see the creepiness, maybe it’s just us adults. But something that has to be scary for both children and adults is this abandoned American prison.

The Raw Anatomy Of Letters

Letters are something that don’t have an anatomy, that is just absurd. But still I’m wrong, they do have, according to these images. The craziest thing is that they look so real that it’s disgusting but fun at the same time. Artist Andreas Scheiger is the one that has come up with the idea that letters have anatomy like humans.

In the pictures it looks like the letters are on operation tables where there are a lot of doctors operating obviously and of course you can see the “inside” of the letters which is muscles, flesh and bones. It looks ridiculously realistic but sick. The name of this project is Typography Open Operation, a perfect name I would say.

Scheiger’s work is very detailed even if it maybe doesn’t appeal to everyone, but it doesn’t have to; it’s art. Showing anatomy of objects that are not alive is something that a lot of artists have done, like for example this artist that has showed the anatomy of cartoon characters.

The Smallest Library In The World

Some of you have probably already seen miniature books that people make for fun, but how about a mini library full of those books? Yes, it’s actually existing. Jozsef Tari has been a collector of mini books since 1969, and he has collected about 4500 books since then. His collection includes the world’s smallest book which is 0.11 x 0.12 inches big with different genres, like sports, politics, music and religion, etc.

He has a shelf where he has put all the books, and he calls it his little library. It’s obvious that the books are just for decoration and not for reading. The impressing thing is that the books are very detailed, so detailed that you would think it’s a real book by only looking at an image of it. Speaking of small thing, this is the smallest Ferrari F40 and matching key in the world.

Huge Spider Webs Around Trees In Pakistan

The flooding in parts of Pakistan has left several traces. Among them is a rather unusual one. If you look at some trees in Pakistan you can see massive webs around them. That is because the spiders had to escape up to the top of the trees when the water surrounded them. They have stayed there since, I guess it’s pretty cool up in the trees, and made some crazy webs that looks like cocoons.

Many people are amazed but I’m creeped out, just imagine the spiders crawling all over the place on those trees laying eggs around. This has of course killed a lot of mosquitoes that gets stuck in the webs, and that decrease the risk of getting malaria, which is really positive, so after all we should thank the spiders. Speaking of spider webs, here are the toughest ones in the world.

Barbie Gone Bad And Crazy

Girl’s just wanna have fun, or girls just wanna be bad? This Barbie is both a crazy party girl and killer. She abuses Ken in every way she can, which is hilarious for some. Others just think it’s crazy, because after all Barbie is a child toy, right? Doll photographer Mariel Clayton obviously got inspired by Dexter when she started this project.

She maybe wanted to shock people by letting innocent Barbie doll be some crazy psycho, or maybe this is a cruel twist on how independent women can be. On the photos Barbie has always the same expression on her face, which makes us think that she doesn’t care at all about what people will think, and that she is unstoppable with her insanity.

I can already see the next scary movie being animated with Barbie in the main role playing a jealous girlfriend that needs revenge. Speaking of creepy dolls, here are some very disturbing mummy dolls.

Creepiest House In History

Do you remember The Adams Family? I know I do, and most of all I remember their creepy house with all this Gothic and Victorian styling. Steve Bard also known as “Weird Steve” actually lives in a house decorated this way. That is completely insane, but he likes it.

His whole house is decorated in a Adams family style. He has skulls, skeletons, creepy sculptures and mounted animals. On top of it all he has set up a Minotaur Garden in his backyard, a Toaster Museum with 150 antique toasters and a Funky Future Room in a style of “The Jetsons” and “Barbarella”, and also a Minotaur Garden set up in his back yard.

His creepy collection contains the smallest mummy ever, two-headed animals, wreaths of human hair and Siamese twin calves, can you believe that? Weird Steve has not opened his house for public attraction, he likes to keep his weirdness for himself.
